ABOUT ME
I fell in love with books at a young age, when my father read to me as I went to bed. Science fiction and fantasy were my treat when I was a good kid. It wasn't until later, when I could read on my own, that I fell in love with the preternatural scene. Vampires were my first love, and eventually I fell for werewolves too.
Before I knew it I was in love with every fantasy creature created, from the ancient gods of Rome to Bram Stoker's Dracula. The darker the tale, the more seductive it became to me. It wasn't long before I was writing my own stories.
Soft and sweet at first, with barely a flirtatious kiss, the tale of romance slowly developed into the erotic. I met my first love in high school, and she taught me everything I know about writing to please an audience. We still write together on occasion.

Music is such an integral part of the creative process for me. There is nothing more poignant than a song that resonates with me, or with a plot, or with a character. Story arcs can be expressed with beauty and simplicity in a lyric or chorus and that has always moved me. So it's no surprise that when I write I have to have tunes playing. I create playlists within playlists and enjoy that creative process almost as much as creating a new story or character.
While there are several different playlists (sexy ones for those special moments, character songs, or series songs) my favorite has to be the fighting playlists. Not only do they inspire epic fight scenes, they are great for cleaning the house, or exercising, or pretty much anything that requires a decent 'get it done' feel.
One of the best things about this era is that music is so freely created and shared. Every day I look for new songs, and every day I find new ones to fall in love with.

My favorite artists include Omar Ortiz, Michael Chang Ting Yu, and Francisco Garces. There are many more artist that have stunning work that just boggles the mind, and each painting, photo, or sketch can conjure up a million story lines.
I have never been very big visually, although by nature humans are visual, but I love art. My favortie value to a piece is the texture, the way the light creates shadow, and mostly the colors. I prefer bright, vivid colors, like a dreamscape portrait.
Nudes are also a strong favorite for me, not only because I write erotica and a beautiful male or female body can inspire intense desire, but because the body, flesh exposed to the brush, is beautiful.
